Auf der Karte fand ich einige interessant aussehende Strassen im Nordkaukasus. Mit Hilfe von Satellitenbildern vergewisserte ich mich, dass es sich tatsächlich um Strassen und nicht nur um Wanderwege handelt. Da die Satellitenaufnahmen eindeutig waren, plante ich meine Route entlang dieser Strassen. Dort angekommen stellte ich fest, dass es sich um Forststrassen handelt, welche im Frühjahr vor allem aus Schlamm und/oder extrem tiefen Fahrspuren bestanden. So kam es, dass ich mich mehrere Tage lang durch den klebrigen Schlamm kämpfen musste – eine Tortur!
