First Northern Lights

Am 19. März 2017 stellte ich am Abend mein Zelt auf einem (natürlich zugefrorenen) See auf und ich konnte nach dem Abendessen tatsächlich das erste Mal in meinem Leben das Spektakel der Nordlichter beobachten. Da ich mich weit weg von allfälliger Lichtverschmutzung befand, blieb ich einen ganzen Tag auf dem See, um am Abend noch einmal die Möglichkeit zu haben, dieses Naturphänomen zu sehen. Als die Sonne unterging, kühlte es deutlich ab und als ich nach dem Nachtessen im Zelt sass, zeigte das Thermometer -20 Grad an. Doch das Warten und Teetrinken lohnte sich, denn schon bald wurde ich erneut mit den tanzenden grünen Lichtern belohnt.
