Electronics
Since we did not want to give up electronic devices, Marc bought an E-Werk for his first Eurasia travel. The E-Werk can be connected to the dynamo hub and makes the power generated by cycling usable. Some electronic devices are sensitive to fluctuations in the charging voltage. Since the E-Werk has some fluctuations, Marc bought in addition a buffer battery of the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, Marc was only disappointed by the E-Werk and buffer battery: He had to replace the buffer battery twice, the E-Werk even four times, so he can not recommend this product at all. For Eurasia 2.0 he used a current transformer from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, this device broke as well. The following items are part of our electronic equipment:
- Current transformer for dynamo hub
14W solar panel Nomad 14 Plus by GoalZero- 28W solar panel (equipped with slide locks by Exped for easy attachment)

- Robust, water-, shock- and freeze-proof camera (unfortunately it didn’t work as expected already at 5 degrees in Winter 2018/2019)
